Beach House Quay was originally
built as a boat house, directly on the rocks opposite Salcombe |
|
When the current
owners bought it in 1991 the house was derelict with streams running
through the ground floor. It took 24 weeks of intensive renovation to make the
building habitable. |

As the finishing
touches were put to the Beach House it caused huge interest in the local
community |
|
New in 2004 was
the wave deflector and slipway combination. The introduction of
this new facility made the use of the boat even easier. |

|
To conserve the trees and river
bank and to make the beach below safe a long reinforced sea wall has
been constructed |
|
The house in 2005 now one of the top houses for rent in Northern Europe the
location, facilities and service are the best and the guests come back
year after year. (As voted in the times 2004) |
